'On the Road' Teaser Trailer

Yahoo! Movies has debuted the first US trailer for On the Road, the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s acclaimed novel from director Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries). The film stars Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, and Kristen Stewart as the traveling trio, along with Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Terrence Howard, Steve Buscemi, Alice Braga, and Elisabeth Moss in supporting roles. 'The Comedy' Teaser: Warnings of Walkouts and Inappropriateness

What do you do when your upcoming release premiered at Sundance and, according to IFC, had "more walkouts than anything else...at the fest?" If you're the marketing team for Rick Alverson‘s The Comedy, you advertise it right there in the trailer. The examination of white privilege and aging hipster-dom stars Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), along with James Murphy, Kate Lyn Sheil, and Alexia Rasmussen. The Comedy releases on VOD October 24th and hits theaters November 9th.

Michael Shannon Kills James Franco in the Debut Trailer for 'The Iceman'

Following its out-of-competition premiere at the Venice Film Festival (to lukewarm response), Millenium Films has released the debut trailer for Ariel Vromen's The Iceman, starring Michael Shannon as real-life hitman Richard Kuklinski -- known as "The Iceman" for freezing the bodies of his victims to disguise their time of death. Winona Ryder, Chris Evans, Ray Liotta, David Schwimmer, James Franco, and Stephen Dorff also star. Fun fact: James Franco was originally slated to play Robert Pronge in The Iceman, but dropped out for contractual issues and was replaced by Chris Evans. 'Seven Psychopaths' Red Band Trailer: It's "Just F*cking Great"

CBS Films has released a 'f*ck'-filled red band trailer for Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths (his second feature following 2008's In Bruges), starring Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Olga Kurylenko, Abbie Cornish, and Tom Waits. First TV Spot for 'The Master'

As its Venice premiere this Saturday and September 14th theatrical release draw near, The Weistein Company continues their push of new marketing material for Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master (and it all looks fantastic).
