'Gran Torino' Meets 'Moneyball' in Trailer for 'Trouble with the Curve'

Clint Eastwood returns to the big screen for the first time since 2008's Gran Torino for Robert Lorenz’s baseball drama Trouble with the Curve, also starring Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Matthew Lillard, and Robert Patrick. The film, set for September 28th release, is Lorenz's first feature following an extensive career as an assistant director. Will it make much of an impact at the Oscars? I imagine probably not, though a nomination for Eastwood doesn't seem out of the question. Adams also looks solid, but The Master looks to be her ticket into the race. Trailer embed below.
