New Theatrical Trailer for Judd Apatow's 'This Is 40'

Universal Pictures (via Yahoo! Movies) has released the second trailer for director Judd Apatow's fourth film, the sort-of sequel to Knocked Up called This Is 40. The film continues the story of Paul Rudd's Pete and Leslie Mann's Debbie (along with their children, played by Iris and Maude Apatow, and Jason Segel's Jason) as they enter that precarious mid-life territory. Melissa McCarthy, Albert Brooks, Chris O'Dowd, Lena Dunham, John Lithgow, and Megan Fox round out the impressive new additions to the cast. This Is 40 is scheduled for a December 21st release, which (crossing my fingers here) I'm hoping indicates something that may be worthy of Oscar attention.

Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) brings audiences This Is 40, an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit Knocked Up as we see firsthand how they are dealing with their current state of life.
