Twentieth Century Fox has released a new domestic trailer for Taken 2, following Liam Neeson's retired CIA agent Bryan Mills as he travels to Istanbul and must once more deal with the kidnapping of his family members. This time, however, it's himself and his wife (played by Famke Janssen), leaving their daughter (played by Maggie Grace) to head up the rescue mission (well, at least initially). Taken 2 opens October 5th. Trailer embed below.
Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one. Directored by Olivier Megaton from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. Starring: Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Sherbedgia, and Luke Grimes.
