Official Trailer for 'The Details'

Following last Friday's unofficial, bizarre trailer for The Details, The Weinstein Company has now released an official look at the film courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. Long delayed following its premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, The Details will be available starting October 5th on VOD and receive a limited theatrical release on November 2nd. The film stars Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Dennis Haysbert, Laura Linney, Kerry Washington, and Ray Liotta. Synopsis and trailer after the jump.

A married couple (Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks) who, already struggling with issues like infidelity and whether they should stay married, see their lives further complicated by ravenous raccoons burrowing under the sod in their back yard. A disagreement over how to dispatch the pests creates a chain reaction of mishaps.
