The Gear of 'Dredd 3D'

Yahoo! Movies brings us another new featurette for Dredd 3D, the Judge Dredd adaptation from director Pete Travis (Vantage Point) starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, and Lena Headey. Now firmly rooted in well-reviewed territory, Dredd 3D may just be worth checking out this Friday when it opens nationwide. Synopsis and featurette after the jump.

In DREDD, the future America is an irradiated waste land. On its East Coast, running from Boston to Washington DC, lies Mega City One- a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called “Judges” who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner.
