tom-hardy-warrior

Deadline reports that Tom Hardy is in early talks to star as British mountain climber George Mallory, who tried three times in the 1920s to become the first man to scale the world’s highest mountain, in Sony Pictures' Everest. The film, adapted by Sheldon Turner (Up In The Air) from Jeffrey Archer’s book Paths Of Glory, will be directed by Doug Liman after he completes work on All You Need Is Kill with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Hardy will appear next in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, following his turns this summer as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and Forrest Bondurant in Lawless.
